Re: “Seattle bans throwing away batteries in garbage, citing fire risk” [Jan. 30, Local News] and “WA liquor board suspends ‘lewd conduct’ enforcement after LGBTQ+ bar inspections” [Feb. 1, Local News]:
What’s unsuitable with this metropolis?
Now we have graffiti all over the place; potholes in each avenue; seniors priced out of their houses; homelessness and open drug use throughout; individuals getting shot on an virtually each day foundation.
And what are our leaders doing? Telling us to not toss batteries within the trash, and raiding LGBTQ+ bars and citing them for (gasp) jockstraps and (deeper gasp) an uncovered nipple. I can see worse inside a three-block stroll down Third Avenue in Seattle.
It’s no marvel that so many people have completely no religion in authorities anymore.
