An NCAA investigation is reportedly underway involving an “unnamed” soccer program allegedly stealing footage from different groups.
The brewing scandal facilities round Catapult, a sports activities efficiency analytics firm that’s broadly used amongst school soccer groups. The Australian firm supplies software program used to review sport and follow footage shared between a crew’s gamers and coaches.
Dan Wetzel of Yahoo Sports activities reported Friday that Catapult has confirmed the NCAA’s investigation into the “unauthorized entry” of crew footage.
The report added that “no less than one faculty” is being implicated. Michigan, which has been investigated and penalized for alleged sign-stealing this season, will not be the college, per Wetzel.
